MODEL UN COMPETITION AT DARTMOUTH COLLEGE: Trumbull High School, Katie Boland

The Model UN Club at THS seeks to foster international awareness through the process of simulations at conferences throughout the east coast. The Model UN Competition at the Dartmouth College is a simulated hearing of the United Nations from March 30th to April 1, 2012. The purpose of the conference is to bring hundreds of delegates from schools around the world to meet together and challenge notions they hold about the world we live in and define what it means to be a global citizen. Through this process, the students will become more familiar with the foreign affairs in our country and a potential career in government and foreign affairs. This will be the first time that Trumbull High School has participated in this conference and is open to all members the club.
